Welcome to the Delmarva Raptors, a premier Tier II youth ice hockey organization based in Harrington, Delaware. Founded in 2022 through the merger of the Delaware Rough Riders and Delaware Stars, our organization brings together over 20 years of hockey experience and a deep passion for the sport. With roots dating back to 2003, we have a rich history of fostering young talent, promoting sportsmanship, and providing a welcoming environment for players of all skill levels.

At the Delmarva Raptors, our mission is to inspire and develop young athletes by offering competitive travel hockey programs for players ages 4 to 18. We are committed to creating a positive, inclusive atmosphere where kids can learn not only the fundamentals of hockey but also essential life skills like teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and leadership. Whether a player is just starting out or aiming to take their game to the next level, we provide the resources, training, and opportunities needed to grow both as an athlete and as an individual.

Our teams are built around a foundation of hard work, healthy competition, and a love for the game. We believe that the lessons learned on the ice extend far beyond hockey, teaching valuable lessons in character that will serve our players for a lifetime. Our coaches and staff are dedicated to ensuring each athlete has the tools they need to succeed, both on and off the ice.

We are in the midst of a transition to a temporary rink in Dover, DE after being told our home rink is no longer going to be open at the end of the 2024-2025 season.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the Delmarva Raptors are driven by a deep commitment to the community and the sport of hockey. We offer opportunities for players of all backgrounds and abilities to participate in the sport, from recreational leagues to competitive travel teams. Our programs are designed to promote player development at all levels, whether through skill-building practices, team-based learning, or competitive game experiences.
