What aged players are appropriate for this program?

We are planning to field teams beginning and 6U and up.

What time of the year does this program run?

Our season will begin in August and runs through early March.

Where are practices and games typically held?

At this time, we are still working to finalize our home rink, which will be in Dover, DE, at Schutte Park. As many of your are aware, our home for the last 20 years has shut down without any notice and has left us in a position where we must pivot for the beginning of the 2025-2026 season. We will be purchasing ice where ever we can until our rink is ready in early November 2025.

When are practices and how often are they?

Teams typically practice two times per week but what that looks like at the beginning of next season is still up in the air. We are working on a combination of roller and ice to supplement until our rink is ready.

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

We are apart of the DVHL, Delaware Valley Hockey League. Our league games are played across Pennsylvania and Delaware. Non-league games are also often scheduled in the surrounding states of Maryland, New Jersey and sometimes Virginia.

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Jerseys are an additional cost. Returning players may use the same jerseys if they still fit. New players are required to purchase jerseys.

8U and up requires both a home, away and practice jersey as well as home and away game socks,

6U requires a practice jersey and blue socks.

12U and up are required to purchase and wear warm-ups to every game.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Travel expenses, personal hockey equipment and additional tournament fees are not included in the season tuition.
